What car will I be learning in?

All lessons are conducted in a brand new 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid automatic, equipped with modern safety features and designed to provide a comfortable and confidence-building learning environment.

How many lessons will I need before sitting my VORT?

Every learner is different and comes with varying levels of experience behind the wheel.

As a general guide, students who have completed their 75 hours of supervised driving typically require between four and six 90-minute lessons before feeling ready to undertake their VORT assessment.

What happens if I don't pass my VORT assessment?

It happens, and it's nothing to stress about.

If you're unsuccessful, you can re-sit your VORT assessment after 14 days. Depending on the feedback received, you may choose to complete an additional lesson or two to work on any areas identified by the assessor.

I don't have a supervising driver to complete my 75 hours. Can you help?

Absolutely.

If you don't have access to a supervising driver, Green Light Driver Training can help you complete your required 75 hours of supervised driving, along with preparation for your VORT assessment.

Please get in touch to discuss package options and pricing.

Where do lessons start and finish?

Lessons can start and finish from your home, school, university or another mutually agreed location within our service area.

When making your booking, simply include your preferred pick-up and drop-off location.

Can I use your vehicle for my driving assessment?

Yes.

You can currently use the Green Light Driver Training vehicle for your VORT assessment.

Please note that licensing regulations are expected to change in 2027, which may require assessments to be completed in government-assigned assessment vehicles. If these changes are introduced, we will provide updated information to all students.
